There is an Art-a-Thon coming up on ATCsForAll.com! The Art-a-Thon will be running from Fri March 13 to Wed March 18 (which means it will probably begin Tues March 12th). You do need to be a member of the website to participate (free free always free). The members are all very nice and happy to help you get started.
An Art-a-Thon (also known as an ATART : for All Types of ART) is a fun filled week where artists from around the world participate in making art and posting online for trading or just for fun. It runs around the clock (24 hours a day) and you can participate as much or little as you care to or have time for.
While most artists that participate make ATCs - It is a flexible format. You can share whatever you are working on - ATCs (artist trading cards), journals, paintings, art dolls, inchies, charms, embroidery, quilts, collages, etc...
Often themes or challenges are posted - usually related to current holidays, events or popular types of art. These are not required, the only things required are to have fun & make art!
The ATCs shown here are just a few that I made during previous Art-a-Thons. There is always lots of eye candy & inspiration!
